Kay has been in full-time real estate since 1976. She is certified competent in many areas of real estate. She is known for commitment to working early and late with have a very hands-on management style. She remains “first phone” on every transaction, and her market area is comfortably Ventura County. She is a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist, a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and a member of the American Association of Senior Moves. She holds two degrees: BS degree with a background in marketing and business administration from Cal Poly and a BA from the Master's University in Newhall. She holds numerous certifications and designations with professional organizations. She is a Certified Probate Specialist, Certified Divorce Professional and Seniors Specialist.

She received the "Champion of Home" award for 2015 from the California Association of Realtors and the SPIRIT Award for 2014 from the Ventura County Coastal Association of Realtors. She has been named Realtor of the Year. In July of 2017, she was selected as one of five Realtors in the United States for her work with and commitment to serving the homeless population in her community and received the Good Neighbor Award. In her volunteer life, she serves as Lead Chaplain to the Ventura County Fire Department.
